个人简况
曹则贤, 男,博士,中国科学院物理研究所研究员,中国科技大学物理系等校兼职教授。中科院“百人计划”, 科技部“973”纳米材料项目首席科学家,《物理》杂志专栏撰稿人,英国物理学会亚太网科学顾问。1987年毕业于中国科技大学物理系,1997年获德国Kaiserslautern大学物理学博士学位。1998年加入中国科学院院物理所至今。在Science,PNAS, PRL,Advmat等国际杂志上发表研究论文80余篇,另发表中文物理学、材料学教育论文80余篇,著有《物理学咬文嚼字》,《Thin Film Growth》等专著 (章节)若干。

1. 什么是物理学
What is physics? This is a question to which the answer we physics students are
devoted to searching for, but rarely anybody of us could find one that satisfies
himself. A picturesque illustration to this question will be presented in this talk,
which is expected to be helpful to the audience who wishes to figure out the
answer of his own.
2. 天遇
内容提要:尘世间的男女大多都期待一场刻骨铭心的相遇,携手缔造一份温馨的婚姻。然而,在这个高度发达的社会里,太多的机缘反而成就太多的遗憾,那个原本平庸的愿望怎么对许多人来说就成了奢望?怎样的相遇,才会达成一个稳定的、舒心的两体体系?此恨不关风和月,也许简单的物理就能提供对相关问题的理解。
3.材料科学是一门科学 (Materials Science is a Science)
Materials Science is an intellectual enterprise involving mathematics, physics, chemistry
and engineering. It underpins the competitive capability of a country. Besides enormous
breakthroughs in the traditional areas, many innovative ideas and designs have
emerged in recent years in materials science resulting from the challenge of
human intelligence. A brief review over the nature and some prominent advancement
of materials science will be presented in this talk.
